How does it work?

The ServMan application is comprised of three primary components: Data, Core Functionality, and LC™, ServMan’s proprietary Integrated Development Environment. With other applications the only way to change program functionality is to purchase source code. Purchasing source code is an expensive proposition and out of the reach of most companies. Even if you could afford the hundreds of thousands of dollars typically associated with this approach, you are now faced with a new problem--Version Lock.

Version Lock occurs when you add functionality or customizations to an application discovering that the next time the publisher provides you a program update it overwrites all of your changes when installed. You now must choose between staying with the older antiquated version of the application or starting all over again with your customizations. Either choice is undesirable.

ServMan’s proprietary Integrated Development Environment provides users with the revolutionary LC™ programming language, allowing them to add new fields, functions, complex procedures and tasks. More importantly, once these customizations have been made you can continue to receive program updates as ServMan leaves in place all modifications to data structures and “add-on” functions.
